Our client is a leader in their field, offering a highly focused and expert approach to care. Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a dedicated team of carers, collaborating in sub-teams to provide ongoing support to young people.
  • Team Leaders or Seniors will guide and coordinate your work, with typical shifts involving 6-7 therapeutic carers.
  • Safeguarding and boundary management are key responsibilities, supported by open communication and relationship-building to maintain low levels of incidents and referrals.
  • The role is diverse, involving everything from mentoring and nurturing to engaging in activities like cooking, gaming, outdoor adventures, and more.
  • Integrate with the on-site school and therapy teams within a therapeutic community framework, participating in reflection sessions to enhance your personal and professional growth.

Requirements:

  • QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Previous experience in residential childcare is required, though our client will support you in adapting to their specialized practice model.
  • Strong English and basic IT skills are required.
  • Must have a full UK driving licence.
  • A sense of humour, creativity, resilience, and a passion for working with young people are essential.
