Day-to-day of the role: - Delivering engaging geography lessons to students, ensuring high-quality education.
- Preparing lesson plans and teaching materials that cater to a diverse student body.
- Assessing and evaluating students’ progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Maintaining classroom discipline and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Collaborating with other teaching staff to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
- Participating in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - A degree in Geography or a related field.
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- A valid DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong knowledge of the geography curriculum and contemporary teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
