Job role Overview -CONTRACT POSITION
We are looking for a "young at heart", dynamic and customer focused DECT/WiFi radio engineer that can travel in Europe, and together with the wider Spectralink team, design and deploy DECT & WiFi Spectralink systems to a big variety of large and small Spectralink industrial and corporate customers.
Please note that this is a 6 months Contract position (with the possibility of extension) with a daily rate up to £250 (Outside IR35).
Job Description
- Travel for ~50% of the time across Europe (travel to other countries may be required but this would be rare)
- Visit customer sites and conduct DECT (predominantly) & WiFi (a possibility) Radio site surveys using Spectralink systems with the aim to produce Radio designs that will subsequently be used for Spectralink DECT radio systems implementations
- Liaise with customers while onsite and remotely to identify DECT/WiFi Coverage and service requirements; document specifics and communicate information about Spectralink systems/solutions and their benefits
- Work closely with Spectralink teams and functions to deploy remote or onsite Spectralink systems at customer networks and premises
- Travel to sites to aid in customer issues identification and resolutions
- Be part of the One Spectralink team to act as a soft Ambassador for Spectralink brand

Qualifications / Experience
- Degree and/or Certifications in IP Networks or Telecoms is welcomed but not mandatory
- Good understanding of Radio network characteristics (DECT and/or WiFi an advantage)
- Good understanding of IP networking and VoIP / Unified Comms systems
- Experience in customer facing roles and in particular in serving customers in the field
- A very good learner in tech and life
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
