We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of a brand new extra scheme care home. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements while leading a team of healthcare professionals.

Duties

* Manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring that all residents receive exceptional care and support.

* Develop, implement, and review individual care plans for residents, tailored to their specific needs.

* Oversee medication administration and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

* Lead, mentor, and support staff in delivering high-quality care, fostering a positive working environment.

* Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

* Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and adjust care plans as necessary.

* Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care for residents.

* Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and independence among residents.

Requirements

* Understanding of current social care legislation, particularly the Care Standards Act 2000 and CQC standards.

* Proven leadership experience within an assisted living or nursing home setting.

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

* Knowledge of medication administration protocols and care plan development.
