We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Mechanical Supervisor to join a client on a permanent basis. The role will involve working on-site across London and the Home Counties, overseeing mechanical installations and ensuring high standards of work are maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience working in hospital environments and hold a valid SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise mechanical installations, ensuring that work is carried out safely and to the highest standards.

* Be on the tools as required, working alongside the team to complete mechanical tasks.

* Oversee and coordinate mechanical teams and subcontractors on-site.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

* Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.

* Monitor progress and report on site activities to senior management.

* Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to specification.

* Manage the allocation of resources, materials, and equipment on-site.

* Resolve any issues that arise during the course of the project, ensuring minimal disruption.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor, ideally with experience in hospital or healthcare settings.

* Strong practical knowledge of mechanical systems and installations.

* SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) qualification is essential.

* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of work.

* Excellent communication and leadership skills.

* Ability to manage and motivate on-site teams.

* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London & Home Counties.

* Good understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them.
