Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a lovely company based on the outskirts of Haywards Heath, West Sussex. The Finance Assistant will be working as part of an accounts team, assisting with everyday transactional finance duties such as; credit control, reconciliations and accounts payable.

Salary: £28K

Location: Haywards Heath, office based - Monday to Friday

Due to rural location, own transport required. Free parking onsite

Accounts Assistant duties:

• Processing invoices - accounts payable
• Reconciliation of supplier statements
• Invoicing and liaising with suppliers and customers, handling any invoice queries
• Sending supplier statements
• Credit control
• Updating finance spreadsheets

Skills and experience:

• Proven experience working in a similar Finance assistant, Accounts Assistant type role.
• Experience of credit control and accounts payable
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• Good IT skills and ideally have used systems such as: Xero
