Head of English / Teacher

First For Education are currently recruiting for a Head of English / Teacher for a school located in Dudley.

This is an interim cover for 2 terms and is full time, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.

The school's innovative teaching and learning will have ensured a marked improvement in learner attainment. Teaching will be active, exciting and inspiring, focusing on the needs of individual learners. Teachers will make best use of the latest available learning technologies. The school's relentless focus on aspiration will ensure more of our learners achieve high grades; both learner attainment and achievement will be at or above national rates.

Staff will also feel happy, positive and motivated. All staff will have the opportunity to develop their careers to whatever level they aspire. Potential new employees will actively seek out opportunities to join the team.

What we are looking for:

* Relevant teaching qualification - you can hold QTS, QTLS, PGCE or be an ECT.

* A clear passion for teaching English and helping children learn.

* Excellent punctuality and organisational skills.

* Enhanced DBS on the update service ideal (if not you will need to have a new check completed).
