TIG Welder/Fabricator

Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire

Hours: 37.5 hours over a 4 day working week (less hours or more may be considered)

Hourly Rate / Salary: £15.50 per hour

Want every Friday off?! Our client offers a 4 day working week over Monday - Thursday! You can work 37.5 hours during this but if less is more suitable or you want overtime that can also be offered!

What we are looking for:

* Overseeing the selection and procurement of materials and equipment required for TIG welding

* Measure and align workpieces using straightedges, clamps, and calipers

* Ensure compliance with established health/safety policies and regulations

* Carry out grinding and thermal cutting operations

* Oversee the set-up of TIG welding equipment

* Operate power and hand tools such as arc welders, buffing machine, and scrapers

* Maintain good working knowledge of the welding characteristics of metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium

* Read and interpret welding blueprints, schematics, and codes

* Ensure welding operations meet set specifications and construction requirements

* Ability to operate gas and non-gas welding devices in carrying out welding duties

* Proficient in using various measurement tools
