Assembly Operator

£13.50ph , Desborough, Kettering, Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.45pm, Friday 7.30am -11.30am Permanent after successful temporary period, Immediate Start. *Early finish on a Friday*

Duties:

Assembly work in accordance with the drawings and instructions provided.
Using hand held tools and power tools and carry out tasks within their planned times
Assisting with quality checks, highlighting any issues to the Works Manager prior to passing to next operation.
Completing all relevant paperwork.
Prepare any documentation such as Inspection Sheets, quality documentation.
Packing product into boxes. Working to production targets
Housekeeping of workshop area, ensuring all H&S regulations are adhered to at all times.The Requirements:

Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Good team player with a positive, proactive attitude to workload and comfortable working to schedules
Excellent attention to detail, good eyesight, and dexterity for accurate performance of repetitive tasks.
Passion to produce high quality products.
Reliable and flexible approach to work, with a keen willingness to learn and develop new skillWe would expect the successful Assembly Operator, to demonstrate previous experience in a similar production role. We are keen to hear from candidates who have worked within manufacturing and assembly, who have the ability to work as part of a quality focused team and work well to time deadlines, with training provided.
