Job Description: Finance Manager

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

Location: Reading (Hybrid)

Role Overview: As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing various financial operations within the organisation. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of financial management tasks, ensuring financial health and compliance across the board. You will manage a team of 5 people and report directly to the Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
Authorize claims and supplier payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Monitor cash flow and financial forecasting.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Evaluate development costs and capital expenditure proposals.
Implement and manage credit control procedures.
Manage the purchase order system for IT expenditure.
Administer insurance funds and liaise with underwriters.
Handle FCA submissions and prepare/facilitate VAT returns.

Skills/Qualifications:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
