An 'Outstanding' and modern Secondary School in the heart of Croydon is seeking a Secondary Learning Support Assistant to join their team ASAP! This is a Long-Term and Full-Time role for at least the full academic year.

This Ealing Secondary School pride themselves on supporting students throughout their education from Year 7 to Year 3 and is seeking a Secondary Learning Support Assistant who will thrive in supporting students of all ages and abilities.

As a Secondary Learning Support Assistant, you will be tasked with:

Helping Class Teachers to deliver subject material across all core areas of the curriculum
Supporting students across the school on an academic basis
Assisting students with SEND/SEMH needs including ASD, ADHD and more in groups and on a 1:1 basis
Setting targets and helping students to achieve themThe ideal candidate for this Secondary Learning Support Assistant would be a passionate graduate looking to pursue a career working with children and to make a difference to the lives of young people from the get-go!

A passionate graduate with a desire to work with children at present and in the future
Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school environment
A significant understanding of SEND/SEMH needs - previous experience is desirable
