Salary: Up to £45,000Full Time, Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm)Our client is seeking an experienced Ward Manager to join their team. The role will be based in a small rehabilitation service, offering a first-class facility specifically designed to provide complex mental health care.
Candidate Requirements - Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN - RMN qualified
- Previous experience in mental health nursing
- Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team of qualified professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interactions with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, handling challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to ensure safe, effective patient care

Responsibilities - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ward, ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment for both patients and staff
- Lead and supervise a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support as needed
- Develop and implement individualised care plans that address the complex needs of each patient, in line with best practices and regulatory standards
- Conduct regular assessments, monitor progress, and adjust care plans as required to optimize patient outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver holistic care, ensuring open communication with all team members
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery
- Conduct staff appraisals, support professional development, and address performance-related issues constructively
