Dynamic Estate agents with multiple branches in West London are seeking a property accountant to join their friendly team. As the Property Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the financial operations of the company. Salary up to £40,000.Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal regulations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and provide analysis to support decision-making.
  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic planning, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve overall financial performance.
  • Audits: Coordinate and support external audits, address audit queries, and implement audit recommendations.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Stay updated on accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices. Implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
  • Accounts qualification
  • Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the real estate or property sector.
  • Live within a 30 minute commutable distance of Hounslow
  • Stability in previous roles
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.
