Our client is seeking a highly skilled and qualified FP&A Business Partner to join their dynamic team in London. This role offers an attractive salary range of £80,000 - £90,000 plus unrivalled package. As the FP&A Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial support to enable the Investment Segment to deliver its strategic objectives whilst managing approved budgets. You will be responsible for aspects of financial business support and planning, including month end processes and various papers and presentations to committees and boards.

What you'll do:

As an FP&A Business Partner, your role will be integral in driving change within the organisation. You will build strong relationships between Investment Segment and Finance to ensure robust financial management, accurate and timely forecasting. Your ability to provide high-quality outputs to various committees, boards, and business owners will be crucial in this role. You will also have the opportunity to identify and drive change including opportunities for sustainable cost savings.

  • Manage the month end process of the Investment Segment; work closely with wider Finance team to ensure appropriate controls and understanding.
  • Support Finance and the Investment Segment strategic planning process including annual budgeting, regular forecasts and three-year business plan.
  • Implement and monitor plans including cost savings - ensuring budget holders own their numbers.
  • Provide input and insight in relation to Investment Segment into various MI Exco and Board presentations.
  • Supports the review and challenge of business cases produced by business counterparts; manages the financial impacts and looks to understand the wider implications providing input on papers / presentations.
  • Responsibility for certain areas of the monthly and quarterly business performance reporting relating to Investment Segment highlighting key trends and pertinent points.

What you bring:

As an FP&A Business Partner, you bring a wealth of experience in month end reporting and finance business partnering. Your strong interpersonal skills coupled with your advanced excel and modelling abilities make you an ideal candidate for this role. Your experience managing planning processes, providing support into presentations, analysis, papers to a wide variety of stakeholders including executive committees / boards is highly desirable. A deep understanding of financial products/concepts used or invested in by the Investment Segment would be advantageous.

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Advanced excel and modelling skills working potentially large data sets including sensitive information
  • Experience of managing planning processes and business support
  • Knowledge / experience of financial products / concepts that the Investment Segment uses or invests in (desirable)
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills (Intermediate/Advanced PowerPoint)
