The Opportunity This is a fantastic chance for a practice-trained accountant to take on a varied role with excellent progression opportunities. Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts with detailed analysis
- Year-end accounts preparation and liaison with audit teams
- Full bookkeeping duties including VAT returns and reconciliations
- Mentoring junior staff members and reviewing their work
- Client-facing advisory work and relationship management
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
The Ideal Candidate Our client is looking for someone with:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (or QBE with strong experience)
- Practice background - essential
- Strong technical skills in Xero, Excel (Dext/Caseware advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively
