Are you a passionate and dedicated nurse with leadership experience, looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Nursing Home Manager to join our team at a well-established and highly regarded care home based in Great Yarmouth.

About the Role:As the Deputy Nursing Home Manager, you will support the Home Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our 42-bed facility, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents. This is an ideal role for an experienced nurse or senior nurse with a strong desire to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact in a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership and support to the care team, fostering a culture of excellence, compassion, and teamwork.
  • Oversee care delivery, ensuring it meets the individual needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Ensure that care plans and assessments are regularly reviewed and updated.
  • Monitor and maintain health and safety standards within the home.
  • Lead and mentor nursing and care staff, promoting ongoing professional development.
  • Build strong relationships with families and external professionals.
  • Assist in recruitment, staff supervision, and training.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Registered Nurse (RN, RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with a valid NMC pin.
  • Previous experience in a senior nursing or leadership role within a care home setting.
  • Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate and person-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience in managing or assisting in the management of a team.
