Estimator - Principal Rail Civil Engineering Contractor

Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator with a background in rail and civil engineering? Join a leading Principal Contractor in the rail sector for an exciting opportunity to work on rail projects.

My client is a highly regarded Principal Contractor specialising in rail infrastructure projects, delivering complex rail works across the UK. Our team is committed to excellence, safety, and innovation, and who pride ourselves on building long-term relationships with clients.

Role Overview:

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive estimates for rail projects. You will play a key role in the pre-construction phase, working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Skills & Experience:

* Proven experience as an Estimator within the civil engineering or rail sectors.

* Strong knowledge of rail infrastructure and associated works (e.g., earthworks, track installation, drainage, bridges, etc.).

* Proficiency in estimating software and tools

* Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or similar (HND, Degree, or equivalent).

* Knowledge of the RMM.
