A global business have a newly created role for a Helpdesk Technician to join their rapidly expanding team on a full time basis.
Supporting the Helpdesk Team Leader this role is well suited to an ambitious engineering professional seeking a challenging new role.
This position is pivotal in the day to day running of the technical team and will be responsible for:
- Trouble shooting electrical, pneumatic, software and mechanical breakdowns
- Demonstrating excellent customer facing and trouble shooting skills whilst resolving any challenges
- Updating and creating documentation and procedures
- Advising schedulers on any breakdown issues
- Support the spare parts department
- Deal with customers in an effective and professional manner
The successful candidate:
- Previous experience within a mechanical, engineering, electrical or technician background
- Strong communication skills
- A minimum of 5 years in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills
- CADCAM and process knowledge within the industry desirable
