Role: Accounts Payable Assistant

VisionFR are acting on behalf of a fabulous PR Agency who are seeking a confident Accounts Payable Assistant. It’s a dynamic agency with a vibrant culture.

Accounts Payable Assistant Responsibilities Will Include:

• Ensure the bank reconciliation is completed every day
• Process supplier invoices daily and deal with any queries that arise
• Manage, check and prepare the company credit cards and ensure all receipts are provided
• Manage the petty cash
• Create new supplier accounts and chase for missing invoices
• Prepare the bi-weekly supplier payment run
• Manage the aged debtor report and chase overdue invoices
• Be a point of call for all account handlers for any purchase ledger queries
• Be a point of call for any Paprika issues
• Add new starters to Paprika
• Train new starters in Paprika
• Support the FD during the annual audit
• Cover for the Senior Finance Assistant when on annual leave, raise client invoices and respond to issues

Accounts Payable Assistant Key Attributes Required:

• Paprika experience is preferable but not essential
• Experience of end-to-end AP
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Interpersonal, communication and teamworking skills
• Previous finance experience in a creative agency is desirable (marketing / design/ PR etc)
