We are currently working alongside a privately-owned company within the electrical engineering, industrial and commercial markets, who are currently looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join their team located in the North East.

This is an established company who work closely with clients in order to provide unique services across multiple functions. They have a tailored approach to their clients for understanding their individual needs, which ensures elite solutions are delivered in a timely manner. The grouping of industry talent, first-hand experience and best-in-class equipment allows for the highest industry standards to be met alongside the assurance of health and safety training.

This client frequently delivers their services throughout both England and Scotland including on-time Building Management Systems (BMS), Maintenance for fully compliant electrical services, Safety Systems and leading Design, Install & Commissioning.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Budget and Cost Management: Review tendered sums, manage purchase orders, and ensure costs align with budgets.

* Design Oversight: Collaborate with design teams, attend client meetings, and suggest cost-effective design alternatives.

* Site and Safety Management: Prepare health & safety files, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

* Contractual and Commercial Responsibilities: Manage contractual obligations, submit payment applications, and ensure accurate project completion documentation.

* Operational Management: Supervise site operations, provide leadership to site operatives, and report on project progress.

* Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards, complete detailed quality reports.

* Commissioning and Documentation: Prepare commissioning statements, ensure completion aligns with client requirements, and maintain material records.

* Project Handover: Strive for zero defects at handover, address any reported defects promptly.

Candidate Requirements & Attributes:

* SMSTS

* Expertise and knowledge in Commercial & Industrial Electrical Installations.

* Proven project management experience with projects of similar size and scope

* Strong organizational and leadership skills

* Experience managing troubled teams/projects to success

* Effective decision-making and conflict resolution

* Negotiation and communication

* Project management tools and techniques

* Pro-active, can-do attitude

* Ability to adapt to change

* Trustworthy and creative

* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others
