The Role
Due to internal promotion, a key position has become available for an experienced Group HSEQ Manager to lead a well-established team within The Briggs Group on a full-time and permanent basis.
Group Responsibilities
* Form the Company's lead in matters of QHSE.
* Advise the Board and its Directors on matters of QHSE and the Company's performance against its plans and policies.
* Effectively lead the QHSE team and ensure that they are acquainted with each other's responsibilities and projects at all times.
* Assume responsibility for the development and implementation of an integrated quality, environmental and safety management system to ISO international standards, and other standards as requested for the group and assist in the subsequent maintenance of all external accreditations.
* Prepare and deliver regular and exceptional reporting to the Company's Board
* Assume responsibility for developing and maintaining safety cases for the whole Briggs fleet and ensure compliance with the ISM Code where appropriate.
* Ensure accurate and timely reporting of accidents, incidents, near misses, and safety observations, and ensure appropriate follow-up investigation and reporting.
* Support new business and formation and development of HIRA as required throughout the business
Qualifications
* NEBOSH diploma , NVQ Level 6 in OHS or equivalent
* Internal Auditor qualification
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Working knowledge of ISO international standards
* Top Set investigation training or equivalent
