Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum

Are you passionate about training and development? Do you have experience with mobile plant equipment and safety training in a manufacturing environment? Elevation Recruitment Group are partnered with a Sheffield based manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Training Coordinator!

As a Training Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that employees receive the necessary training to operate safely and effectively in their roles. You will be responsible for identifying training needs, delivering high-quality mobile plant and safety-related training, and maintaining up-to-date training records. You’ll help foster a culture of health and safety, while also ensuring compliance with mandatory training requirements across the site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging training programs for mobile plant equipment, manual handling, abrasive wheels, and other safety-related topics
  • Identify training gaps, ensure role-specific training requirements are met, and coordinate necessary training to close competency gaps
  • Ensure every new starter completes an approved induction and mandatory training program
  • Maintain accurate training records and a training matrix to track employee competencies
  • Promote a strong health and safety culture through effective training, safety observations, and interactions with staff
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and continuously improve them to meet evolving needs
I'm keen to speak to individuals with the following skillset:
  • Qualifications:
    • ITSSAR / RTITB or equivalent instructor’s qualification
    • Manual Handling Techniques Instructor qualification
    • Abrasive Wheels Instructor qualification
    • Completion of a ‘Train the Trainer’ program
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in teaching, coaching, or training, with the ability to adapt to different learning needs
    • Experience operating mobile plant equipment in a manufacturing environment.
    • Knowledge of forklift trucks and overhead cranes (both theoretical and practical)
    • Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in maintaining training records and documentation
    • A passion for health and safety and a commitment to continuous learning
