Exciting Opportunity: Goods in Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver

An experienced Goods in Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver is required to join an established manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £30,500 per annum, alongside a permanent contract after a successful probationary period. With day shifts Monday to Friday and a 45-hour working week.

You MUST hold a Full UK Driving License.

The hiring manager is looking for someone that has previous Stores/Stock Controlling experience, is familiar with booking stock in and out on a computer system, and preferably someone that holds a Counterbalance forklift license that can drive the truck on occasions.

What You Will Do:

Operate a Counterbalance forklift truck on a daily basis.
Assist in the yard, providing excellent service to customers.
Conduct yard and factory maintenance to uphold standards.
Monitor and meet production requirements efficiently.
Manage stock through the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and order.
Participate in audits and stock takes, contributing to the team's success.
What You Will Bring:

Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
Familiarity with ERP or warehouse-based computer systems.
Current Counterbalance forklift license (preferred).
A strong commitment to adhering to Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental, and PPE policies.
A collaborative spirit, ready to assist in various tasks including packing and shipping preparations.
