A national charity that we work closely with are looking for an experienced Housing Management Worker to join their busy team in South Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Property Management team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Housing Management Worker Role: · Directly supporting tenants to manage their tenancy, assisting them with
· housing benefit claims and signposting them to relevant support services
· and liaising with support services where required.
· Conducting initial and regular assessments of the potential or actual
· service user including any risks, their needs, and requirements in respect
· of the service, to determine eligibility for the service taking necessary
· action where required are delivered.
· Working with the Housing Management Team to ensure the correct tenancies are issued,
· sign up new tenancies and ensure the service user
· understands and accepts tenancy obligations
· Be involved in ordering furniture and goods for the property
To be considered for the Housing Management Worker Role: - Must have an up to date Enhanced CRB certificate
- Need to own a full UK Driver’s License - As travel will be required to a designated area
