We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive our business forward.

Position Overview: As a General Manager, you will be at the forefront of our operations, playing a critical role in the success and growth of the company. This is a high-pressure, high-reward position that requires a seasonal professional with a proven track record in the construction or fencing industry. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project estimation, measurement, and valuation, while also leading a team of dedicated fence erectors. Additionally, you will the face of our company to our clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

Key Resposibilities:

1. Project Estimation and Measurement:

Accurately estimate project costs, ensuring competitive and profitable bids.

Conduct thorough site measurements and assessments to inform project planning.

Prepare detailed project valuations and submit them for approval.

2. Team Leadership:

Lead and inspire a team of fence erectors, providing clear direction and support.

Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and high performance.

Implement training and development programs to enhance team skills and efficiency.

3. Client Account Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact.

Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Ensure client satisfaction through excellent communication and project management.

4. Operational Oversight:

Develop and implement effective operational stratergies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Monitor project progress, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

5. Financial Management:

Oversee financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Analyse financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
