Join Our Team as a Parts Advisor - Automotive Industry

We are looking for a dedicated and organised Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team in the automotive industry. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring exceptional customer service by managing parts and inventory effectively. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the Inspection team to analyse completed inspections and ensure accurate parts are identified for refurb quotations.

* Work closely with technical teams to handle complex parts requirements for jobs, estimate creation, and ordering.

* Maintain structured stock control systems through regular PI and stock checks.

* Ensure parts and consumables are kept at optimum levels, meeting the just-in-time process.

* Process warranty parts returns according to strict guidelines and manage defective parts via returns procedures.

* Accurately reference and order parts using the appropriate systems.

* Receive and quality check parts, reconciling them with associated paperwork.

* Record invoices and manage stock documentation efficiently.

* Assist in issuing parts to technicians, ensuring proper job card matching and delivery.

* Manage general housekeeping duties in the parts department, ensuring a clean and organised workspace.

* Take on additional duties as required to ensure seamless service to customers.

Required Skills and Experience:

* Previous experience as a Parts Advisor in the automotive industry.

* Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

* Physical capability to lift heavy items.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Exceptional attention to detail.
