The School and Role:

The school is currently seeking a Young Offender Behaviour Mentor to work with young people aged 11 to 16 in a Pupil Referral Unit setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive impact on young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and helping them access education. As a Young Offender Behaviour Mentor, you will provide guidance and support both in the classroom and in fostering their social and emotional development. The role involves managing challenging student behaviour, offering corridor support, implementing behaviour interventions, and participating in the duty call-out rota.

Requirements
The desired Young Offender Behaviour Mentor will:

Be resilient 
Be able to demonstrate empathy 
Have a passion to change young people's lives for the better
Have relevant experience working with young offenders, young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues
