Altum Consulting are recruiting for an Intercompany Accountant to join a large Consumer business based in central London. This role is for an initial 3-month period and applying candidates must be available immediately.

Role:

• Perform an independent audit and reconciliation on the detailed intercompany matrix, including verification as to the appropriateness of the current process within NetSuite.
• Liaise with various internal stakeholders as part of the analysis, acting as the go to for the project.
• Summarise any actions and associated accounting entries required to align the intercompany between systems and individual accounting records.
• Review current processes and controls to ensure that they are optimal and operating effectively.
• Put forth recommendations to ensure all intercompany accounting transactions and processes are performed in compliance with applicable group accounting policies.

You'll be/have:

• Qualified Accountant with NetSuite experience.
• Prior experience of reconciling and settling intercompany balances with multi-currency FX and multiple subsidiary relationships is essential.
• Experience working in large complex businesses.
• Available immediately/short notice period.
