Job Title: Marketing Executive
Reports to: Senior Marketing Manager

The Role : Are you a self-starting, creative individual with a passion for digital marketing and a drive for achieving results? We're looking for an ambitious Marketing Executive to support our subscription marketing efforts across a diverse portfolio of products, including sports and daily news. As part of our team, you will be key in subscriber engagement and retention, working within a dynamic newsroom environment and executing digital campaigns across multiple channels. You will be able to join us on a hybrid basis in our city centre Glasgow office.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to learn, develop, and make an impact in the media industry.

Key Responsibilities

* Support acquisition, retention, and engagement activities for subscription products.

* Manage the delivery of email campaigns through our CRM, HubSpot (training provided).

* Support seasonal marketing campaigns aimed at driving digital subscriptions.

* Understand and utilise our content to drive digital growth.

* Conduct regular audits of outbound marketing channels to ensure industry best practices.

* Handle outbound customer communications via HubSpot CRM.

* Collaborate with in-house teams on creative briefs and manage the delivery of marketing assets.

* Execute day-to-day management of outbound emails, including some copywriting.

* Identify and target key audiences through various marketing channels.

* Stay informed on media industry trends, marketing techniques, and new advertising strategies.

* Enjoy data-driven work, overseeing the creation, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns.

Qualifications for the Role

* Degree in Marketing or relevant work experience.

* Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot experience is a plus).

* Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects with competing deadlines.

* Strong communication skills and a creative approach to problem-solving.

* Data-driven mindset with an enthusiasm for media and content-based marketing.
