Our client are seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Branch Merchandiser to join their dynamic team. This could be a great option for you in one of the UK retail's real success stories!As a Branch Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and ensuring optimal stock support by creating and executing effective planning and allocation strategies. Your keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills will be instrumental in identifying key sales volumes forecasts at the channel level in collaboration with various teams.Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver a comprehensive planning and allocation forward plan, ensuring efficient and accurate stock flow to reflect range and promotional changes.- Collaborate with the partnership buying, merchandising, and marketing teams to create sales volume forecasts for new ranges, seasons, and promotions.- Own and maintain accurate sales volume forecasts at the channel level, regularly analysing performance and making recommendations for improvement.- Monitor stock levels and proactively address any discrepancies or issues that may impact sales targets.- Collaborate with the buying and merchandising teams to optimise stock support and ensure the availability of products to meet customer demand.- Analyse sales and inventory data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, making data-driven recommendations to drive sales and maximise profitability.- Work closely with the marketing team to align merchandising activities with promotional campaigns and initiatives.- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform future planning and decision-making.- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights on sales performance and stock availability.Skills/Experience:- Previous experience in a similar branch merchandising role or stores merchandising role, within the retail industry.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.- Excellent planning and organisational abilities, with a keen eye for detail.- Proficiency in using merchandising and inventory management systems.- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly and confidently.- Strong collaborative skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving sales growth.- Knowledge of market trends and customer preferences within the retail industry.
