Requirements:

We require full time full time Speech and Language Therapists.

Shifts: Mon to Fri (08:30 am to 04:30 pm)

Locations: PR4 and PR6

Roles and Responsibilites:

1. Assessment and Diagnosis

2. Individualized Treatment Planning

3. Direct Therapy Services

4. Classroom Support and Integration

5. Collaborative Work with Staff and Parents

6. Monitoring and Reporting Progress

7. Support for Social Communication and Emotional Development

8. Training and Professional Development

9. Sensory Integration and Regulation.

Candidate Requirement:

“You will be responsible for holding a speech and language therapy caseload and with the full support of our knowledgeable Clinical Team, you will also contribute to staff training and consultation. Both a challenging and rewarding role, this position would suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual, with a creative therapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions, as well as manage their own workload. In addition, you will provide information and training to staff, commissioners and other agencies as required.”

* Relevant experience working at a postgraduate level.

* Experience within the specialist client group. (complex communication issues, relating to autism, including language disorder, dyspraxia, sensory impairment, learning disabilities/difficulties and associated challenging behaviour)

* Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality

* Experience of teaching, training and professional and clinical supervision

Essential Criteria:

* Allied Health Professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy

* Registered with the HCPC and RCSLT

* Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams

* Experience of working with children, young people and adults who have an intellectual disability and/or autism with additional needs (e.g. complex trauma, mental health needs, behaviours of concern)

* Experience of working within school environments

* Valid UK full driving licence and access to own vehicle
