Fabrication, Laser Cutting/Folding Manager

Location: Draycott, Derbyshire
Salary: £19 per hour

We are a leading designer and manufacturer of automated, high-technology food processing equipment with a global customer base. As part of our growth, we have established a dedicated laser cutting section, equipped with a 4x2m fiber flatbed laser, an 8m fiber tube laser, and a 7-axis Amada Press. We're seeking an experienced Fabrication Department Manager to oversee this section and drive continuous improvements.

Our facility is dedicated to stainless steel fabrication, operating one of the cleanest laser cutting environments you'll find. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career while working with the latest in flatbed and tube fiber lasers, a 7-axis Amada press, and Lantek CAM software, all contributing to the production of top-tier food processing machinery.

Candidate Profile:

* Experienced Section Leader with proven leadership skills, committed to maintaining a safe and efficient workspace

* Skilled in setting up and operating laser cutting and press brake machinery

* Proficient with Lantek CAM and Amada software

* Able to work quickly and accurately in a high-precision, technology-focused environment

* Strong attention to quality, with the ability to visually inspect work and components

* Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings

* Possesses a strong work ethic, a collaborative attitude, and adaptability

* Open to skill development and training on additional equipment and in other company departments
