Job Description: HGV 1 Driver

An exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious national clients based in Donnington, Telford has become available for an HGV 1 driver.

As an HGV 1 Driver you will be responsible for:
Driving both artic and rigid heavy goods vehicles with a variety of trailers depending on the load.
Both internal and external deliveries.
Handball can be involved.To be considered for this HGV Driver role you will need:

C+E Licence - CPC + DIGI Card - ADR (Desirable)
To be able to provide last 5 years' worth of work history (referenced)
To have a clear enhanced DBS processed on your behalf
Have held your C+E license for at least 2 years, and have at least 6 months experience driving class 1 vehiclesOR

Newly passed drivers will be considered following successful completion of Pertemps driving academy assessment day.
This work is ongoing Monday to Friday for the right HGV Driver Candidate.
Weekly bookings in advance.
Buddy system in place for new drivers to learn the ropes.
New well-maintained fleet of vehicles
Potential Temp to Perm for the right HGV DriverPAYE HGV Driver Pay Rates are as followed:

Days - £13.12ph
Nights - £17.45ph
Overtime (after 48 hours) - £19.68ph
