MFL Teacher - Spanish

We are supporting a high performing school on the outskirts of Brighton who are seeking an MFL Teacher to join their school on a long term basis from September 2024. Ideally, your primary language subject would be Spanish. 

Day to day of the role:

• Teach and lead within the MFL Team, which includes Spanish, in particular.
• Identify clear learning objectives and specify how they will be taught and assessed
• Engage in the HITS programme to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom.
• Liaise with the Subject Leader to ensure the implementation of department policy
• Contribute to a supportive, collegiate culture and make a difference in the lives of students.
• Teach your primary subject across ages 11 to 18 and potentially other subjects as directed to facilitate curriculum delivery, with relevant support provided.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience of teaching MFL within UK schools.
• Excellent subject knowledge in MFL.
• Qualified Teaching Status and the right to work in the UK.
• A forward-thinking individual with determination and passion for promoting social sciences.
• Commitment to teaching across the 11-18 age range with successful outcomes for students.
• Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate leadership skills.
