Description
The In-House Property Solicitor will be:
- Managing relationships with panel solicitors to ensure value for money.
- Handling conveyancing for property acquisitions, shared equity, and sales.
- Overseeing housing matters including; complex tenancy issues, possession proceedings, and coordinating with external legal providers as needed.
- Reviewing and preparing contractual documents for various in-house projects.
- Keeping the leadership team informed about legislative changes.
- Maintaining records of land ownership and deeds.
- Providing legal training to staff and board members.
- Managing members of the team.
Profile
The In-House Property Solicitor should be:
- A Solicitor or equivalent with experience in property and housing law.
- Proficient in conveyancing and litigation processes.
- Skilled in managing external legal relationships.
- Knowledgeable about current housing legislation and compliance.
- Experienced in training and mentoring legal staff.
- Holder of a valid driving license with access to a vehicle.
