Sustainability Consultant

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sustainability Consultant to join a growing multidisciplined MEP consultancy in their offices in Birmingham. The successful candidate will alongside the Sustainability Director and work on large residential and commercial projects.

Role responsibilities for a sustainability consultant include:

Use IES software to carry out Part L modelling and EPCs
Produce energy statements and reports for planning and BREEAM requirements
Work alongside the MEP team and improve energy efficiency of projects by carrying out energy audits
Take the lead on various projects and client meetings, carrying out site visits when needed toThe ideal Sustainability Consultant will have:

A level 4 NDEA qualification with proficiency with IES software
Good knowledge and experience with carrying out overheating assessments against TM59 and Part O
Good knowledge of London Plan requirements, UK building regulations and Part L compliance
Relevant degree within a sustainability or energy field with a Masters being desirable
Relevant experience within a Sustainability Consultancy roleBenefits of the role include:
