Job Title: Quantity Surveyor / EstimatorLocation: Liverpool OfficeCompany Overview:A well-established main contractor with over 40 years of experience specializing in retail fit-out projects. We work with high-profile blue-chip clients across the UK, delivering quality projects that reinforce our reputation in the industry.Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic Quantity Surveyor who can also take on Estimating duties. You will be based full-time in our Liverpool office, with occasional site visits as required. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director and working closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will manage project values up to £3 million, ensuring accurate pricing and effective cost management.Key Responsibilities:Pricing and Estimating: Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, ensuring competitiveness while maintaining profitability.Quantity Surveying: Manage all aspects of the financial and contractual side of our projects, from initial tender to final account.Client Interaction: Maintain and build relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.Project Management Support: Assist in managing the financial aspects of projects, including cost control, valuation, and forecasting.Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Commercial Director, ensuring transparency and accountability in all financial matters.Requirements:Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator within the construction industry. Experience in retail or commercial fit-out is preferred, but we are open to candidates from other construction backgrounds.Skills: Strong pricing abilities are essential.
