Description
- Process invoices and reconcile purchasing orders
- Ensure accurate and timely payment processing
- Manage supplier queries and build strong relationships
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure month-end deadlines are met
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly reports
- Improve payment processes and contribute to the implementation of new systems
- Assist in annual audits
- Adhere to all company policies and retail industry regulations
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
- A strong educational background in Accounting or a related field
- Proficient skills in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- A track record of working effectively within a team
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines
