Locum Community Psychiatric Nurse or Social Worker (CAMHS)

Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Rate: £26 per hour (umbrella)
Contract: Locum

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Community Psychiatric Nurse (NMC Registered) or Social Worker (SWE Registered) to join a dedicated CAMHS team in the Eastbourne area. This locum role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people experiencing mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing a caseload of children and young people with mental health needs.
Acting as a care coordinator and providing support in line with the Care Programme Approach (CPA).
Undertaking assessments, risk management, and developing care plans.
Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions and liaising with families/carers.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.

Essential Requirements:

Professional Registration: Valid NMC (for CPN) or SWE (for Social Worker) registration.
Experience: Proven experience working within CAMHS or similar settings.
Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence and access to a car are essential.
Skills: Strong communication, assessment, and care coordination skills.
Availability: Able to start promptly and commit to full-time hours.

Additional Information:

There may be scope for part-remote working, subject to manager discretion.
Competitive hourly rate of £26 umbrella.
