About the role:
Are you an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for your next exciting opportunity? Do you have a passion for education and a knack for inspiring young minds? As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the learning experience of our students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will work closely with our talented teaching staff to support planning and delivering engaging lessons, leading small group interventions, and providing tailored support to individual students. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and eager to make a real difference in a vibrant school setting.
Application Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or a similar role within a primary school setting.
• A relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• A solid understanding of the UK national curriculum, particularly across Key Stage 1 and 2.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with children and helping them thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
• Delivering high-quality support to students across KS1 and KS2, both in-class and through small group interventions.
• Assisting teachers in planning, preparation, and assessment, ensuring all pupils reach their full potential.
• Leading and managing classroom activities in the teacher's absence, ensuring continuity and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Developing strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to promote a positive school culture.
