My client a large, diverse, and ambitious organisation are looking for an experienced assessor who can undertake client visits and audit a wide range of systems standards.

Benefits

Location: home based but with regular UK travelling and weekly overnight stays (approx..2 a week)

Hours: 35 hrs a week

Salary: Starting £45-47k increasing after training.

£1,500 home allowance

Additions: car allowance / fuel card

About the Role

As an assessor you will carry out management systems visits to a wide range of management systems in the fields of environment, quality, health and safety, automotive, aerospace, ISO27001 etc.

• Access a client’s documented management system to ensure compliance with recognized accreditation standards
• Perform assessments and surveillance visits in a timely manner
• Arrange and attend client visits and give appropriate feedback to the client
• Prepare and submit a visit report including recommendations and withdrawal of certificates
• Provide professional advice
• Ensure 1 and 2 assessments, surveillance activities and recertification visits comply with the requirements of the management systems manual.

About you

As an assessor you will:

• Have experience and knowledge of carrying out audits / assessments
• Have a Health and Safety background.
• Excellent communication skills
• Report writing skills
• Current UK driving licence
• Happy to do weekly overnight stays and travel around the UK
