Role: Ground Worker

Location: Middlesborough

Pay: £17 - £25ph (Depending on experience) PAYE or Umbrella)

Contract Length: December 2024 (Permanent roles available)

Our client seeks a ground worker to be part of a 6-man team on site in Middlesborough. The site is petrol forecourts and you will need to be able to drive construction machinery, do pathways, drainage, pin curbs and well as some normal digging out when required.

For this you will be paid above the market rate but we do ask that you are great at your job and seek a long term role, because the work is there all over Middleborough, if you want it.

* Minimum 2 years civils experience - Preferred

* A valid UK driving licence - Essential

* In date CSCS card - Essential

* CPCS/NPORS (360 below 10 tonnes, above 10 tonnes advantageous) - Essential

* First Aid

* Manual Handling

* Non-smoker (ideally)

* Has a “can do/ will do” attitude

* Is punctual and reliable

* To work safely and efficiently

* Keeps people informed of progress on key tasks

* Displays good time management skills

* Polite and approachable

* Is open to new ideas and listens to other people's point of view

* Takes take direction from site manager

* Conducts themselves in a courteous and professional manner
