Job: Bookkeeper

£20,000 to £23,400 a year depending on experience
Location: Peterborough

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our clients team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This role requires a high level of accuracy and proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage.

Role description

Sales Ledger using SAGE
Purchase Ledger using SAGE
Credit Control using SAGE
Payroll using SAGE PAYROLL
Data entry to HMRC website
Data entry to Peoples Pension via website
Daily reconciliation of bank statements
General account duties
Assist in the day to day work order processes.
Ensure that all communications, correspondence, filing and information requirements are dealt with in a timely fashion.

Skills required

Ideal applicants to have at least 3 years CURRENT experience of using SAGE on a daily basis
Microsoft applications, Outlook, Excel, Word
SAGE accounting software and SAGE payroll
