Tradewind are working with an ASC specific school in Erdington that supports pupils between the ages of 4-16years. We are looking for a Level 2 TA to support with the schools most complex learners with Autism, learning difficulties and complex communication and behavioural needs. This is a full-time role to start from September.

We are seeking a committed, hard-working, enthusiastic Level 2 Qualified Teaching Assistant who can consistently demonstrate excellent classroom practice supporting the class teacher in meeting the individual needs of all pupils with ASC.

Candidates must have had experience in supporting pupils with autism and complex learning needs and managing challenging behaviour. All staff are required to be flexible in their approach to working across all Key Stages and with a range of pupils with complex needs.

Requirements:

Experience working with students with autism, communication difficulties, and social skill disorders is essential.

A genuine passion for working in special education and making a positive impact on young lives.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students and colleagues.

Patience, empathy, and understanding in supporting students with diverse needs.

Relevant qualifications or certifications in SEN or Childcare.
