The Pangbourne based Nursery: Located in the heart of the community with convenient access to major roads and public transport, is easily reachable and well-positioned for local amenities.
The NVQ 2 Nursery Practitioner Role: Seeking a NVQ 2 Nursery Practitioner to join the nursery team.
- Provide high-quality care and education to EYFS children.
- Complete and monitor paperwork effectively, including observations, planning, and learning journeys in line with the EYFS.
- Foster positive parent/family partnerships through clear communication and effective handovers.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless information sharing and maintain confidentiality.
- Safeguard children and respond to their well-being, following appropriate procedures.
- Be flexible in working across different rooms and settings to support the nursery's operations.
- Maintain high standards of room presentation and adhere to the EYFS areas of learning.
- Embrace equality of opportunity and support children with additional needs, working with outside agencies as needed.
- Promote British values and create an inclusive environment for all children.

- Up to £23k per year (subject to experience)
Additional NVQ 2 Nursery Practitioner Responsibilities:
- Attend staff meetings, training, and nursery events.
- Perform some domestic tasks within the nursery.
- Assist in creating a high-quality environment that respects cultural and developmental needs.
Skills and Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 in Childcare or higher
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and high standards of practice
- Full clean driving licence (preferred)
- Located or can commute to Pangbourne.
