LEAD DEVOPS ENGINEER VARIOUS OFFICES IN THE UK - 2 DAYS PER WEEK£90,000 + 20% BONUS

As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be working with the Engineering teams to ensure they follow Azure DevOps practices as part of their major migration from legacy data sets to their new Azure platform.

THE COMPANY:

This company operates in the banking sector, specialising in loans. They recently started their cloud migration towards Microsoft Azure to ensure they were in a position to launch new data products, more efficiently. They still have lots of data in legacy data sets and the Engineering squads lack the full support from a DevOps specialist hence they'd like to hire a devoted person to this project.

THE ROLE:

You will lead the introduction of Azure DevOps across the entire data department as part of their migration to Azure. The role will allow you to work with squads migrating the big legacy data sets in a more efficient way, towards their Azure Data Factory environment. You will be introducing the Azure DevOps way of working to ensure the data teams knows what the best practices are. You will be working with senior stakeholders to ensure knowledge sharing happens throughout the department.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The ideal Lead DevOps Engineer will have:

• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Worked in domain which allows for big data
• Experience working as a wider dataset, ideally in a legacy capacity
• Implemented DevOps best practices and led migrations
