Setting Out Engineer

Sphere Solutions are working with an established and renowned firm specialising in Civil Engineering, to recruit a Setting Out Engineer to work in Exeter and surrounding areas.

The workload will be varied ranging from residential housing schemes, to earth/road works and steel and RC framed buildings.

Duties will include:

* To undertake the setting out of suitable building project at the construction phase

* Understand and implement drawing and file management systems

* Supervise, advise and motivate junior staff members

* Client liaison, maintain quality records of work carried out in various formats including photographs, written and sketch forms.

Experience:

* Junior level candidates are welcomed to apply

* HNC qualified with at least 2 years post qualification experience in a similar role (preferably)

* AutoCAD proficient and able use robotic total station, auto level and rotating dual grade laser

* Self-motivated with excellent communication skills

* CSCS card

* A UK driving licence is essential

On offer is a salary up to circa £40,000 depending on salary. On offer is overtime, pension and company vehicle. Training and development is on offer to candidates looking to change careers.
