Up to £36,000 - £42,000 Basic plus Bonus

• Working on Light commercial vehicles and Vans
• Permanent position, 32 days annual leave, Pension,
• 1 in Saturday mornings paid as Overtime at 1.5,
• Yearly additional bonus of up to £6,000 per year

Vehicle Technician - We currently have a Vehicle Technician position available with a renowned motor group, recognized globally for its brand. Experience with commercial vehicles is not required; however, you should be comfortable transferring your mechanic repair and maintenance skills from working on cars to vans.

You will need to have Vehicle Technician experience and be qualified to Level 3 or above to be successful in securing this position, and we can offer an immediate start on a permanent basis.

The Job: Vehicle Technician / LCV Technician

• Servicing brakes and mechanical parts of the cars
• Ability to draw upon past experience to troubleshoot current issues.
• Conduct servicing and repairs to many different brands of vehicles.
• Diagnose faults on vehicles: road tests as necessary (subject to appropriate license).
• Repair, Service, Maintain and inspect all light commercial vehicles as requested by workshops Manager and charge hand
• Comprehensive understanding of different warranty systems
• Experience working in a similar high-volume refurbishment environment preferable.
• You should be confident using all the necessary tools and materials, have experience with or be happy with working in a high-volume modern body shop.

Job Experience: Vehicle Technician / LCV Technician

• City & Guilds OR NVQ 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and repair
• Experience of working in vehicle repairs, commercial vehicles would be an advantage
• Mechanical knowledge essential
• You must have worked in a fast-paced environment and have good hand-eye coordination.
