We currently have an opportunity to join Nottinghamshire Police Force Intelligence with a fixed term post for the role of ANPR Support Officer based at Sherwood Lodge in the ANPR Team.
Working within the ANPR Team you will provide systems and administration support to the Nottinghamshire Police ANPR function. You will assist with the processing of ANPR evidence and will work with investigation teams and police deployments with live and planned ANPR support to complex cases. You will utilise the complex ANPR systems to maximise the capabilities of the police ANPR function to deal with crime and disorder. You will act as a SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for ANPR providing tactical advice and guidance in relation to all ANPR matters across the force.
Applicants must have experience of both researching information from a variety of sources, as well as interrogating, maintaining and utilising data on a variety of computerised systems. They must be able to succinct reports and present information in a variety of formats. A good understanding of IT applications and the ability to work both as part of a team, as well as alone, are key requirements.
