Job Description:

We are currently seeking experienced tutors to join our team in Slough. The ideal candidates will have a high level of experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and be willing to work around 10-15 hours per week on a part-time basis. The role requires patience and a focus on delivering tuition in maths, English, and science subjects.

Job Duties:

Provide tailored educational support to students with SEN in maths, English, and science subjects
Develop and implement individualised learning plans
Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

A relevant qualification in education or a related field
Demonstrated experience working with students with SEN
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

A degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience
Strong knowledge of the UK education system
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
Experience in using assistive technology in teaching
Experience working with students with specific learning difficulties

Working Conditions:

Part-time hours, around 10-15 hours per week
Temporary position with the possibility of extension
Flexible schedule based on student availability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
